Spoff (Scotland) Ltd is a small family business, owned and run by Angus & Margaret Mackenzie. Based in the Highlands they use oats, grown and milled in Scotland, to produce a range of interesting and unusual mueslis and porridges. All Spoff breakfast cereals are available online as well as in independent shops throughout UK.

Margaret first made muesli for the family and then to sell in her herb nursery shop, close to Loch Ness, in the early 1990’s, before expanding to sell to hotels and independent retailers in the North of Scotland. In 2002 Spoff Scotland separated from Brin Herb Nursery and moved in 2004 to their current home in Invergordon, Ross-shire.

Spoff® Highland Muesli is a unique range of mueslis using Scottish oats, organic branflakes and dried herbs and flower petals grown at Brin. The flavour of the herbs and flowers, such as Marigold petals and Elderflowers, combines with dried fruit, nuts and seeds to produce an unusual and very popular range. Spoff® Highland Porridges, developed in 2003 to compliment the range of mueslis, includes oatmeal and oatflake porridges variously flavoured with fruit, spices and even whisky!

Spoff supply a number of major independent Farm Shops including Windsor Farm Shop (part of the Queen’s estate) with “private label” product, as well as the Spoff branded range. Our continued growth has included small shipments of product, on a regular basis to the USA, as well as supplying customers in Belgium andIreland. Recently we developed our Emerald & Ruby range launched at Speciality & Fine Food Show in London in September 2006.
